Sometimes I feel like my life alternates between "sitcom" one day and "primetime drama" another day. Why is that? I don't mean, like, the big emo Gossip Girl or 90210 dramas. I mean, like, the cool dramas. Like... The Mentalist or Ghost Whisperer. Except I don't solve crimes. Or see and talk to dead people. Well that's not true. I talk to dead people sometimes. They just don't talk back.
So I guess Ghost Whisperer would kind of be accurate? Except that Jennifer Love Hewitt is, like, way sexier than I will ever be. But that's okay. I mean, I'm a guy. I'm not supposed to have big boobs. So thank goodness I don't. But I'm also kind of "unique" like Patrick Jane (the main character of The Mentalist), and I've studied Criminal Justice... so maybe that's a little accurate, too?
My life as a primetime drama... I guess it would be something like Gilmore Girls, except I'm one of the other characters, not Lorelai or Rory. They also have boobs. But they don't see and talk to ghosts. Bummer. They should have incorporated that in the final season. Maybe then the show would have gotten an 8th season.
My life as a primetime drama definitely wouldn't be on NBC or FOX, though. FOX cancels new shows left and right without giving them a fair chance (Firefly!! Grr...), and I'm still sore over NBC canceling Crossing Jordan at the last minute when it was essentially at its best. My life would be on CBS. And it would probably be a sitcom, with me and my wacky friends. And it would be juxtaposed with How I Met Your Mother. That would be awesome. And then we could be followed by Two and a Half Men, then The Big Bang Theory, and end with CSI: Miami!
Could you imagine me on the same night as CSI: Miami? Let's... *puts on sunglasses* ... make it happen.
