Long hairstyles are always interesting to me. I enjoy seeing what kinds of things guys with longer hair will do with it. I like the first one, with the pseudo-ponytail where most of it is pulled back, but there's still hair hanging in the front. I think that's the kind of look I could probably wear a fedora with on a given day. I don't really like male hairstyles where all of the hair is pulled back in a ponytail. I don't know why, something just kind of seems off to me about it.
As far as letting it all hang down, I have kind of a love-hate relationship with that. It really depends on the way the guy has it. The second picture above seems okay. The hair is still kind of stiff, but free enough that it can still move casually.

That's the sort of "messy" long hairstyle that I don't know that I really like that much. I don't know that I would care to have my hair really looking that... unkempt, I guess you could say? I think it's really an expression of personality more than anything else, and that's not really my kind of personality.
This is the sort of "punk" Japanese long hairstyle that I sometimes like, sometimes don't. I think it really sort of depends on the person that I see with that hairstyle. I've seen Chinese guys in Hong Kong wear styles like that on the street, and I'm not really sure I've successfully seen it pulled off.
Now let's talk shorter hairstyles for a while.
I really like this style. This is a neat medium-long length style, and I like the way that the hair sort of frames the face. I think it's really stylish, and I would love to be able to this. Maybe if I could get the front of my hair to that and pull the rest back into a ponytail, I'd probably do that. Aaahhh how I hate my hair... >.<
I like this shorter hair style. Parted mostly to one side, I think this look is pretty cool. It's one of the things I sort of wish I could do with my hair, especially in regards to where it hangs at the front of the head. With my African American hair, I can't really do that naturally. :(
Finally, this is another hairstyle I've seen that I really like. It's kind of like the first one, except with a slightly more semi-formal feel to it, I'd suppose. Like I could wear something somewhat dressy while wearing that hairstyle, and it would still look really stylish. At least, that what I think.
Maybe I'll just go out and buy an Asian hair wig and do awesome things with it... *sigh*
